On Wednesday 4 September 2013, at the end of the General Audience, a delegation form the Council of European Episcopal Conferences (CCEE) will present Pope Francis with a book of drawing and letters which children, representing the outskirts of the European nations, wanted to give to the Pope.
At the same time, a copy of the collection of drawings and letters will be signed by the Holy Father.
The delegation which will present the collection of drawings and letters comprises:
- His Grace Mgr Đuro Hranić, Archbishop of Đakovo-Osijek (Croatia) and President of CCEE’s ‘Catechesis, School and Universities’ Commission;
- Don Michel Remery, CCEE Deputy General Secretary;
- Vasile S., a Moldovan child, who will be the ambassador of children on the outskirts of Europe, accompanied by his bishop, His Lordship Mgr Anton Cosa, Bishop of Chişinău (Moldovan Republic).
